Comments: Sen. Keith Kreiman SD-47 incumbent (Bloomfield, Davis
county), called today to answer the survey. We joked
a little about how long it was (one question) and then Keith told me a
wonderful story. He told me he opposes a helmet law,
but that was not always his position. He asked if I
remembered the helmet fight back in '93 (boy do I) and after watching us
rally to defend our beliefs he changed his position and now uses ABATE of
Iowa as a prime example of democracy in action. Real
grassroots politics. He apologized for being late
with his answer, and told me that ABATE can count on him for any help we
might need.
