A.B.A.T.E. OF IOWA DISTRICT 16
Dedicated to the Freedom of the Road
A Brotherhood Aimed Towards Education
IOWA S.T.E.A.M.
SEMINAR TO EDUCATE AND MOTIVATE
This event was held in Newton IA on November 12, 13 &14 2004. It was my first time attending, and I was very impressed. There were excellent seminars covering many topics. There was something for everyone. In addition to the seminars, there was the chance to socialize with members from all over the state.
On Saturday night there was a banquet and awards, followed by an auction to raise money for P.A.C. There was a D.J. playing music also.
One of the raffles was to raise money for the Share The Road program. The prize, a new scooter, was won by Meri Kay Chase. The raffle brought in a lot of money which Cindy Klima donated.
If you haven't had a chance to go to S.T.E.A.M., I highly recommend going next year. It will be held in Marshalltown.
