Lobby Day 2005

  Lobby Day at the State Capitol in Des Moines was great. We had over 250 members show up, which can make quite an impression. We met and spoke with many of our legislators. There is a lot to see in the Capitol, and several of us got an excellent tour from Representative Dawn Pettingill. The legislators and their staff made us feel very welcome. I enjoyed seeing everything firsthand, including sitting in on a sub-committee meeting and watching how things are done in the House & Senate. I really encourage everyone to attend this event next year.
