Awareness Ride
May is Motorcycle awareness month. On the 21st we held our annual Awareness ride. We met at the Black Hawk County courthouse under cloudy skies, hoping for sun. Although the sun never came, we did have a great turnout. A lot of people made the ride despite a few sprinkles of rain.
After riding through Waterloo and Cedar Falls we ended up at Kathy's Korner in Dewar. Kathy had free maid-rites and chips for all the riders.
Thanks to everyone who took part in this ride, the Black Hawk County Sheriff deputies who escorted us, and especially to Kathy for feeding us.
All riders are welcome to join us next May for the next Awareness ride.
